check date formula

Hi, I have a list of names and hire dates beside them.
I have in each column a formula like date+90days etc
I Need a formula to check each date in columns d,e,f,g,h and have it
equal the nearest date coming up so if column (a) has (aug 6,03) and the next column is oct30 the formula will show that date.  Thanks for your
